ATC at a glance
For over 20 years, ATC has been the vital connection between energy producers and electric providers, moving energy along the regional electric grid for over 5 million electric consumers in parts of Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota and Illinois.
As the first multistate, transmission-only utility in the United States, ATC plans, maintains, operates and protects a regional electric grid with over 10,000 miles of high-voltage electric transmission lines and more than 580 substations.
